CENTERVILLE PA- Shirley Lester Louk, 89, of Centerville Pa., passed away on Wednesday November 4, 2020 at home.
Born August 19, 1931 in Glady West Virginia, he was the son of the late Eli J. and Rose (Arbogast) Louk. He was preceded in death by his daughter Phoebe Klavuhn and eight of his siblings.
Shirley was a retired truck driver employed by PennDOT. He enjoyed visiting with his neighbors and assisting any of them if they needed a helping hand. Shirley also enjoyed recycling and fixing old items.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years Genevieve Louk; eight children Beverly Newton and husband Edwin Jr., Jonathan Louk and special friend Barbara, Karen Offutt and husband Joseph, Edwin Louk and wife Terry, Edna Louk, William Louk and special friend Susan, Lori Short, and Clara Ketterman and husband Elmer; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren, his brother Lloyd Louk, and his sister Betty Pirlozzi.
At Shirley’s request, there will be no services.
