Robert Stephen "Steve" Miller

CUMBERLAND- Robert Stephen “Steve” Miller, 71, of Cumberland passed away on Sunday March 12, 2023 in Glenn Burnie.

Born August 1, 1951 in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Melvin J. and Betty L. (Cooper) Miller.   He was also preceded in death by his brother William J. Miller; and a niece Lindsay E. Miller.

Steve was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Era.  He was stationed in Thailand.   Steve worked for 20 years at Lowes in LaVale, where he enjoyed helping his many friends.   He loved music and animals.  Above all, Steve loved his family and looked forward to holiday dinners and family dinners.

Surviving are his sister Doris J. Hilton and husband Robert; his brother David W. Miller and wife Melinda; his nephews Shawn Miller and David Kinser and wife Tammy; his niece Betty Mclain.

At Steve’s request, he will be cremated.

A Committal Service will be conducted at the committal shelter at Maryland State Veteran’s Cemetery, Rocky Gap on Friday March 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.

Inurnment will be in the Maryland State Veteran’s Cemetery, Rocky Gap.
